My mom used to buy several flavors of these candy sticks, but Sassafras was always my favorite. I hadn't thought about them in years (assuming they no longer existed, of course), but I was watching a Christmas movie and two of the characters were arguing over who got the last Sassafras candy cane! It wasn't the same thing I remembered, but I became obsessed with finding the ones of my childhood. After some "out of stock" messages, I nearly gave up, but I'm glad I clicked into this site! These are exactly right... that perfect texture between "hard candy" a softer sugar stick, with that subtle Sassafras flavor. I bought six boxes, so I could have them for the holidays (and gift a couple friends). THANK YOU!!!

Due to item being sold out, took longer to receive. Shipping was fine. The candy has changed from the soft chalky like texture I remember. It is now similar to regular candy canes. Wo t be purchasing again. No reflection on Ben Franklin store this was on the candy company. Flavor was good.
